To book a tour, complete and return the booking form with the deposit via bank transfer or cheque. Please ensure payments are addressed to “Birding9.” Reservations are confirmed in order of receipt, and early booking is recommended to secure your spot.
Payments
- Payments are accepted in INR and the selected currency must be used consistently throughout the transaction process.
- Full payment is due 120 days before the tour commencement date. Failure to pay by the deadline will result in cancellation of the booking.
- Part payments or post-dated cheques are not accepted.
Cancellations
By the Client:
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing and will take effect upon receipt.
- Charges apply as follows:
- More than 120 days before departure: Loss of deposit
- 120 days or fewer: 100% of the tour cost
By Birding9:
- In cases of insufficient bookings or other factors, all payments will be refunded.
- In events of force majeure (e.g., strikes, war, or natural disasters), payments will be transferred to an alternative tour of equivalent value.
Passports and Visas
Clients are responsible for ensuring valid passports and applicable visas. Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the tour end date.
Health and Vaccinations
Stay informed on vaccination and health requirements by consulting health professionals. Any costs due to non-compliance will be borne by the client. Health concerns should be disclosed during booking to ensure appropriate preparations.
Accommodation
- Room-sharing requests are accommodated when possible; single accommodations incur an additional fee.
- Smoking is not allowed in shared rooms unless all occupants consent.
Tour Adjustments
- Tours may involve moderate physical activity and early morning starts to maximize wildlife observation.
- Itineraries may change due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather or local conditions. Decisions made by tour leaders are final.
Group Conduct
- Participants are expected to maintain respectful behaviour throughout the tour.
- Antisocial conduct may result in dismissal without refund.
Liability
Birding9 ensures the proper arrangement of tours and selection of service providers. However, liability is limited to:
- Direct negligence by Birding9 or its agents.
- Loss or damage directly caused by our failure to fulfil contractual duties.
We are not liable for:
- Losses arising from transport delays, weather, or acts of God.
- Injuries or damages caused by third-party service providers.
Complaints
Complaints should be reported to tour leaders promptly. If unresolved, submit a formal complaint in writing within 14 days of tour completion.
